No - escrow is optional but strongly recommended. ExitBid does not provide escrow directly; we point parties to licensed providers such as Escrow.com. Escrow fees are charged by the provider on Escrow.com's published tiered schedule (roughly 0.9%–3.25% depending on transaction size - about $1,300 on a $150,000 sale), not by ExitBid.

ExitBid collects the $199 Seller listing fee by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay) through our Merchant of Record. Buyers do not pay ExitBid anything - bidding is free after one-time phone & email verification. The final sale price is not processed by ExitBid; it moves directly between Seller and Buyer, optionally through third-party escrow.

Guided checklist: source code, domain, data, credentials. Both parties confirm each step before proceeding.

SaaS, e-commerce stores, mobile apps, Telegram bots, Chrome extensions, AI tools, Discord bots, newsletters, and other revenue-generating online businesses. Crypto assets, NFTs, and regulated financial products are not eligible.
